"1,000 generations live in you now. But this is your fight"

AHHH!!!!! Finally! We have it! Episode 9 will be Star Wars : The Rise of Skywalker! I love this pic from J.J. We began this journey with Luke decades ago, and it appear we will be finishing it with his legacy.

We, unfortunately, didn't learn much from the episode 9 panel. Fearing spoilers, the cast was careful and referred several questions to J.J. One such questioned, asked to Daisy, was whether or not we would see a few new force abilities in the film. Since she passed the questions to J.J., the assumption was yes. We have no idea what those powers may be, but I am definitely looking forward to adding some abilities to the list!

We also got to see Anakin/Luke/Daisy's historic lightsaber! After it was destroyed in the throne room, fans speculated that the lightsaber was finally lost. Fortunately, we will get to see the lightsaber handed from father to son one last time.

The title leaves us to question which particular Skywalker we're talking about. Is it Luke? Yes, he died at the end of TLJ, but the title could imply a mental rising. Is Kylo the only remaining Skywalker? Or was Kylo lying about Rey's parentage? Personally, I would love to Rey to be a Skywalker. I know this opinion has fallen out of preference, but I just love the idea of starting and ending this amazing journey with a Skywalker Jedi as our main character. Especially when she's standing in front of the broken Death Star!

And Ian McDiarmid's cackle, who has been CONFIRMED to be returning as Palpatine, was glorious. Just as good never dies, neither does evil. Haven't seen the trailer?? Check it out here!

What does the title mean to you? What do you think we can expect to see from our heroes next?

Come December, we will all get to feel the Force with the Skywalkers, one last time.

"We'll always be with you. No one's ever really gone."
