"Dume"
Ezra: "I don't understand. Why did you help us?"
Loth-Wolf: "Dume"

On our last episode of Rebels we finally got to see our Loth-Wolf!! Filoni has said before that he loves wolves, and intended to include them in The Clone Wars before the show's cancelation. Wolves have been an important symbol at one time or another in every culture in the world, and their previous significance could play into the show. If you'd like to know more about that, check out my latest article on Future of the Force here!
I have long thought that we were going to lose Kanan by the end of the series. Remember, "when gone I am the last of the Jedi will you be". I suspect we will leave the fate of Ezra up to the audience as I don't think Disney has the guts to kill him on screen, but we'll see.

In Rogue, we hear Hera's name over the speaker in the hanger. 10 second earlier, Mon Mothma asks Bail about his "Jedi friend", speaking of Kenobi. If Ezra or Kanan were still around, why couldn't there be multiple "Jedi friends"? But, I digress.
Dume is Kanan's true last name! He was born on Coruscant as Caleb Dume and became Kanan after Order 66. Is the wolf trying to prevent his death? Does he know Kanan will be integral in keeping the rebellion going, even at the cost of his life? Perhaps Ezra will save Kanan at some point, and so needs to keep Ezra safe?
It's anyone's guess at this point. Plus, we have Kanan's words at the end that state that the paths are coming together. Does that mean we will be seeing Ahsoka soon? She is a path we haven't crossed in over a year! It's time to see the apprentice again.
What do you think the Loth-Wolf knows? Let me know @ForceKnowledge
