When Should a Kenobi Film Be Placed

When Disney bought Lucasfilm, they labeled all of the original extended universe (EU) "legends". Presumably this was because Disney wasn't sure which stories they were going to keep from the EU. These "legends" stories included events from both before and after the films and shows. Since several of the stories about some of our favorite characters are gone, it's time to refill the gaps, don't you think?

Lately we have been getting hints at a Kenobi film. If you haven't read up on Obi-Wan's original backstory, I encourage you to do so. It's a fascinating story about how one of our favorite Jedi almost... wasn't. One of the major gaps we are left with in Obi-Wan's timeline is him as a Padawan. This would be an excellent edition to the Star Wars universe.

And since The Clone Wars gave us a taste of a relationship, can we please get a little bit of Satine?! I can already see it: beginning a film running with Satine, saving her life, swallowing feelings and leaving her behind, all for the sake of duty. *Sigh
